Musings #108

Could WE co-exist with a little bit of YOU and a little bit of I?

At times, there is so much of YOU that I feels trifle. Some days it’s only I and no trace of YOU. One moment too distant, next minute too involved. Do YOU and I ever find a balance? When I sulks could YOU hold strong; when YOU panics could I stay calm. When time doesn’t move forward, could I keep the clock aside? When everything is haywire, could YOU stand the storm. If only I could be I, YOU could be YOU and they still manage to discover WE; US would make quite a story!

P.S. : Only time will tell.

Home Struck

Roots. Places you belong to. The home where your heart is. Roads that you have treaded for years, time and again. People who have shaped what you are today. Surroundings where your childhood crackled; your teenage strolled, snooping and sneaking. The laughter, the fights. You have been through it all, right here. Your base foundation. The soil whose scent you cannot wane. A place that holds memories so many, you can’t ever finish recollecting.

We tend to drift away. We change and grow and evolve. We meet new people, see new places, plan on seeing newer places. Move to greener pastures and similar stuff. Our roots though, they are instilled like how salt dissolves into water. Not much to say today. Just that, NEVER forget your roots people.

On a very self-centric note…

I am free. I choose. I decide. I stride. I falter. I even fall. And I rise. I cry and I laugh. I worry. I ignore. I hold on to. I let go. I smile. I pray. I think. I walk. I live in the moment. I gasp for air. I love. I endure. I scribble. I juggle. I sustain. I try. I am. I just am. Let me be.
